Pacers Blank Keystone for Fifth Straight Win

Scranton, PA - Marywood University took only an hour and forty five minutes to pick up their fifth consecutive win as the Pacers blanked visiting Keystone College 9-0 in CSAC men's tennis action Thursday afternoon in Scranton.  The win improves the Pacers to 8-3 on the year and 3-0 in conference play while the Giants fall to 1-3 (0-2 CSAC) with the loss.

Marywood's Evan Bolus (Clarks Summit, PA) and Greg Chilson (Mountainside, NJ) improved to 6-3 overall at one-doubles with a 8-3 win over Chris Conte and Samual Dahmer.  Bolus and Chilson are unbeaten in CSAC doubles play as well at 3-0.  At two-doubles, Daniel Pfafman and Barrett Wentworth (Clarks Summit, PA) cruised to an 8-1 win, and Marywood went finished the doubles sweep with an 8-2 win at three-doubles from Todd Doran (South Windsor, CT) and Wyatt Nolan (Montoursville, PA). 

Marywood picked up two 6-1, 6-1 wins in singles action as Chilson and Bolus defeated their counterparts at one and two singles, respectively.  Doran then dropped Sean Hanahue 6-1, 6-2 at three singles while Pfafman (Stratford, NJ) earned a 6-0, 6-3 win over Keith Garubba at four singles.  Ethan Jones (Lebanon, PA) was a 6-1, 6-0 victor over Keystone's Robert Gilroy, and Bao Nguyen (Scranton, PA) finished the day with a 6-1, 6-4 win at six-singles for Marywood.

The Pacers will return to action Monday when they travel to face Rosemont College in CSAC action at 4:00 pm.
