Aston, PA - Marywood University's volleyball team dropped a pair of games at the Knights Invitational hosted by Neumann University on Friday. The Pacers fell 3-0 to the host Knights before dropping a 3-0 decision to York College. The losses move Marywood's record to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in Colonial States Athletic Conference play. 
 
In Friday's opener, host Neumann dealt Marywood its first conference loss of the season, 3-0. The Knights won the first game 25-22, claimed the second game 25-18, then sealed the win with a 25-22 decision in the third game to improve to 2-7 on the season (1-1 CSAC). 
 
Katelin Kuklentz led Neumann with 13 kills while Cecily Scavicchio dished out a match-high 33 assists to go along with 10 digs. Victoria Limmina (15 and Kuklentz (10) each finished in double-digits for digs.
 
Marywood's attack was led by Emily Fillman's (Clarion, PA) match-best 14 kills. Alyssa Hartranft (Mountain Top, PA) had 26 assists for the Pacers while Rachel Tollett (Elkins Park, PA) had 21 digs. Fillman (18) and Arielle Cassidy (Garwood, NJ) (15) finished with double-digit digs.
 
In Friday's nightcap, York improved to 10-1 on the season after winning games of 25-10, 25-14, and 25-21.  Fillman had seven kills to led Marywood, who got a team-high 13 assists from Leeanne Feeney (Wappingers Falls, NY) and eight digs from Tollett.
 
The Pacers will be back in action tomorrow in Aston against Wesley College in a non-conference match scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
