Marywood evens their CSAC mark at 2-2 while BBC slips to 4-3 (4-1 CSAC). The Pacers (5-2) started strong as they grabbed an early 3-0 lead thanks to strong doubles play. The top doubles team, the freshman duo of Caili Nizamis (Baldwinsville, NY) and Erika Von Zup (Tannersville, PA) downed BBC's Kellie Bernard and Julie Herr, 8-5. That win was followed by an 8-3 victory for Marywood's Kara Hoff (Montoursville, PA) and Melissa Hudock (Pitman, NJ), while the Pacers' three-doubles team of Beth Schneider (Port Jervis, NY) and Lindsay Burke (Yorktown, NY) easily won 8-0. In singles play, Ashley Karli (Blandon, PA) picked up her second win of the season at one-singles with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Katie Boger. Bernard would avenge her doubles loss, as would Herr, as the BBC players won at two and three singles, respectively. Bernard downed Nizamis 6-4, 6-3 while Her beat Schneider in three sets (6-2, 5-7, 10-8). Marywood, however, picked up wins at four through six singles as Hudock, Von Zup and Morgan Fereck (Duryea, PA) all won easily.
