The Pacers, who now stand at 6-2 overall, improved to 3-2 in CSAC action to remain in fourth place in the conference standings. PBU fell to 3-5 (1-3 CSAC) with the loss. Kara Hoff (Montoursville, PA) and Melissa Hudock (Pitman, NJ) blanked their one-doubles opponents from PBU 8-0 before Marywood went on to win by scores of 8-1 at both second and third doubles. Hoff fell at one-singles action by a score of 6-4, 6-3, but Marywood got impressive wins from Beth Schneider (Port Jervis, NY), Hudock and Lindsay Burke (Yorktown, NY) at two through four singles, respectively, to earn the win. Lauren Fersch (Netcong, NJ) and Elizabeth Sullivan (Binghamton, NY) were victors at five and six singles in super tiebreaker action for the Pacers.
