Lancaster, PA – Marywood University's volleyball team rebounded from a 3-0 defeat to host Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday to defeat Ithaca College 3-1 to finish the weekend tournament with a 2-1 record.  The Pacers, who have now won five of their last six matches, are now 11-6 on the season.
 
Franklin & Marshall swept Saturday's first match with wins of 25-16, 25-19, and 25-20.
 
Emily Fillman led Marywood's attack with seven kills while Alyssa Hartranft added 17 assists.  Rachel Tollett led the team with 14 digs while Ashley Zalewski and Erica Krakosky had two solo blocks apiece in the loss.
 
Marywood jumped out to a quick start against Ithaca in the nightcap, winning the first game 25-18, but the Bombers leveled the match with a 27-25 decision in the second frame.  The Pacers locked up the victory with wins of 25-21 and 25-17 in games three and four, respectively.
 
Fillman tied for a match –best with 12 kills and added nine digs while Kim Lope contributed 11 kills and two blocked shots.  Hartranft paced Marywood again with 36 assists and Tollett led all players with 21 digs in the win.

Hartanft and Tollett were both named to the All-Tournament Team.
 
Marywood next travels to Cedar Crest College on Wednesday evening for a Colonial States Athletic Conference match.  The first serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Allentown.
