Scranton, PA – Visiting Philadelphia Biblical University emerged victorious after a tight Colonial States Athletic Conference volleyball match in five games at Marywood University on Tuesday evening.  The Crimson Eagles boost their record to 14-10 this season and 5-2 in conference play with the win while the Pacers see their record slip to 12-8 overall and 4-3 in the CSAC.
 
Marywood won Tuesday night's first game 25-20 before dropping a pair of 25-23 decisions to fall into a 2-1 hole.  The Pacers forced a decisive fifth set with a convincing 25-14 win in game four, but the Crimson Eagles claimed a 15-12 decision in the final game to pick up the key conference win.
 
Philadelphia Biblical got eight kills apiece from Abbie Keating, Ashley Taylor, and Joy Bucknam in the win.  Ein Greenwood handed out a match-high 36 assists and added five service aces while Erika Catalano led all players with 24 digs on the evening for the Crimson Eagles.
 
Emily Fillman paced Marywood's attack with 13 kills and the senior added 10 digs for a double-double.  Kim Lope added 10 kills for the Pacers, who were led by Alyssa Hartranft's 26 assists.  Rachel Tollett led the squad with 18 digs while Ashley Cavellier tied for a match-high with five service aces while adding six kills and eight digs.
 
Marywood will be back in action on Thursday when they travel across the city to take on the University of Scranton in a non-conference match scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
