Hackettstown, NJ - Marywood University's Christian Lawlor scored two goals and added two assists as the visiting Pacers picked up a big Colonial States Athletics Conference win over host Centenary College Wednesday afternoon in New Jersey, 4-0.  Lawlor assisted on the first and third goals and scored the second and fourth for Marywood, who improved to 8-3 overall (5-1 CSAC) and handed the Cyclones their first CSAC loss of the year and just third overall in 13 games.

Marywood wasted little time getting the game-winner, scoring in the fifth minute of play as Jonathan Rottkamp played a cross from the left flank to Lawlor, who would find Richard Fifi back on the left corner of the 18 yard box.  Fifi would finish at the 4:41 mark to the right post to give the Pacers a 1-0 lead and collect his second goal of the year.

After nearly thirty minutes of preserving a 1-0 lead, Lawlor doubled Marywood's advantage when he took a cross from Brandon Ritter and put the ball into the far-post netting for his team-leading fourth tally of the season.

The 2010 CSAC Rookie of the Year was not done there though, as he would pick up another assist with just over ten minutes remaining by feeding Brett Megee for a 3-0 Marywood lead.  Lawlor would close the scoring and his two-goal, two-assist performance just over a minute later when he scored on another Ritter assist by heading home a cross at the 81:12 mark.

Lawlor, who now leads the Pacers in both goals (5) and assists (5), finished the game with six points.  Jared El Gayeh recorded four saves to collect his fourth solo shutout of the year, Marywood's sixth overall.

Jason Rogers had six stops for Centenary, who fell to 8-3-2 overall and 3-1 in CSAC play with the loss.

Marywood hosts NYU-Polytechnic University Saturday.  Kick-off will be at 2:00 pm on Marywood's natural grass field located near the Mellow Center for Athletics and Wellness.
