Immaculata, PA - Three different players scored in the second half as visiting Marywood University beat host Immaculata University 3-0 in women's soccer CSAC action Saturday afternoon.  Lacey Habicht scored the game-winner just over four minutes into the second half while Siobhan Blancaflor and Caitlin Light each added goals as Marywood improved to 6-1-1 in league action.  Immaculata fell to 4-3-2 in CSAC play with the loss.

Marywood (7-7-1 overall) controlled the tempo of play from the start, out-shooting the host Mighty Macs 8-2 in the opening period, but the Pacers managed just three shots on frame, none of which really challenged Immaculata's keeper.  Instead, it was the hosts who got the first dangerous look at goal, but Marywood keeper Emily Osborne came up big on a break away to preserve the scoreless game.

Just over four minutes into the second stanza, Habicht took a feed from sister Olivia and dribbled down the left flank, cutting in unabaited and ripping a shot from just outside the 18 over the out-stretched arms of Immaculata's Meghan McCurning for the game's first goal.

Just over five minutes later, Olivia Habicht took a ball down to the left touchline, cut it back inside the 18 and worked her way to the edge of the six-yard box before firing a line-drive cross that seemed to be headed across the goalmouth.  That was until it found the head of Blancaflor, who was in the air at the back post and headed it back over to the far-post netting for a 2-0 Marywood lead.

With just under fifteen minutes left, Light worked her way through several defenders inside the penalty box and cut back to her left foot to find the back of the net and an insurance goal for Marywood.

The Pacers had a 16-3 advantage in shots for the game and got two saves from Osborne in the shut-out win.

Marywood will enjoy a week off before hosting Cabrini College next Saturday in a key CSAC showdown.  Kick-off is set for 1:00 pm.
