Scranton, PA – Marywood University's volleyball team snapped a three-match losing skid in convincing fashion on Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 victory over Notre Dame of Maryland University in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match on Saturday afternoon.  The Pacers lift their record to 13-9 on the year and 5-3 in the conference.
 
Marywood won in dominating fashion by scores of 25-9, 25-11, and 25-7 to drop the Gators' record to 3-15 this fall and 1-7 in the CSAC.
 
A balanced attack carried the Pacers, who got kills from eight different players led by Ashley Zalewski's six.  Kathleen Reilly, Emily Fillman, and Kim Lope each contributed four kills apiece.  Kelly Chadwick led all players with 22 assists and four service aces while Rachel Tollett added a team-leading seven digs.
 
Marylu Ortiz had six kills to lead Notre Dame while Helaina Caldwell added four.  The Gators got a match-high 11 digs from Cristina Aquia who also recorded two service aces.
 
Marywood returns to action on Wednesday when they visit Baptist Bible College in a CSAC match scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in Clarks Summit.
