Avondale, PA - Marywood University shot a 337 on their second day, three strokes better than their first round, as the Pacers finished in 10th place out of 13 teams at the Immaculata Fall Invitational Monday afternoon in Avondale.  The Pacers' two-round team score of 677 placed Marywood 82 strokes behind Division I LaSalle University, the overall winner with a score of 595.  Paul Kania led Marywood with a two-day total of 157, placing him a tie for 19th overall.

Kania hit a 79 on Sunday, leading the Pacers to a round of 340 on the tough par-70, 6,401 yard Inniscrone Country Club.  M. Frank Major shot a +12 82 in the opening round while Robert Crofton (89) and John Stolan (90) were Marywood's other scores.  Matt Janowicz's opening round of 95 was not tabulated on day one.

Kania followed up his team-leading performance with a 78 on Monday.  Crofton shot seven strokes better on day two (82) to place him in a tie for 44th overall with a 171.  Major finihsed 49th after shooting a 92 on Monday for a 174 total, while Stolan's 86 on Monday was four strokes better than his effort Sunday, putting him tied for 51st with a 176.  Janowicz's round of 91 Monday, four shots better than his 95 from Sunday, put him 62nd overall with a 186.

Three players finished the course at +5 over two days.  Andrew Park from Swarthmore was awarded named the individual medalist after shooting a low score of 71 amongst the three on Monday.  Michael Johnson and Tyler Fewell of LaSalle each shot two-day rounds of 145 with 73s on Monday.
