Scranton, PA - Marywood University blanked visiting Baptist Bible College 9-0 in women's tennis action Friday afternoon.  The Pacers improve to 6-1 on the year and 6-0 in CSAC play and will face unbeaten Cabrini College (11-0, 8-0 CSAC) Saturday afternoon.  Baptist Bible fell to 5-8 (3-4 CSAC) with the loss.

Marywood controlled doubles play with a pair of 8-3 wins in the one and two flights before Lindsay Burke and Beth Schneider teammed for an 8-0 win at three doubles for the Pacers.  Melissa Hudock and Carly Leitzel got the win at one-doubles while Kara Hoff and Megan Nastelli won at two-doubles for Marywood.

In singles play, Hoff was a 6-2, 6-2 winner in the #1 flight.  Leitzel followed witha 6-2, 6-1 win at two-singles action whiel Schneider won 6-1, 6-0 at four singles.  Nastelli and Hudock got 6-0, 6-0 wins for the Pacers at five and six singles, respectively.

In one tightly played match, Burke pulled out a 10-8 super tiebreaker win for Marywood in three-singles.  Katie Boger won the first set 6-2 before Burke returned the favor with an identical score in the second set. 

Marywood and Cabrini's match will begin Saturday at 1:00 pm on Marywood's home courts.
