Scranton, PA - Competing less than 24 hours after a big win over Lebanon Valley College Marywood University's men's swimming team fell to visiting Misericordia University 153-53 at Marywood's Aquatics Center Saturday afternoon in Scranton.  Andy Blevins won the 200 butterfly for Marywood while Tim Merli and Chris Brown finished second in the backstroke and breaststroke, respectively, as the Pacers fell to 4-2 on the year and were handed their first loss to a Division III school after realing off four straight victories.

Blevins finished the 200 butterfly in 2:04.19 to win the event.  Merli finished the 200 backstroke in 2:06.02, just behind race winner Matt Moates of Misericordia who touched in 2:04.10.

Brown finished the 200 breaststroke in 2:31.05, behind the Cougars' Doug Ransom who finished in 2:16.72.

Marywood returns to action November 18-19 when they take part in the Randolph Macon Invitational in Virginia.
