Marywood Falls to Misericordia, Paterson Wins Again

Scranton, PA - Marywood University fell to 3-5 on the season with a setback to local rival Misericordia University Saturday in women's swimming action.  The Pacers fell 147-58 after competing less than 24 hours after a huge win over Lebanon Valley College.  Katie Paterson and Kristen Vitale picked up wins for the Pacers on the afternoon.

Paterson was victorious in the 1650 free, touching in 18:42.22, 24-seconds ahead of her nearest competitor.  Catherine Anlas came in second in the 50 free, toucing in 25.75, just behind Misericordia's Breanna Grzech who won the event with a time of 25.72.

Vitale was Marywood's only other individual winner on the day, taking the 200 butterfly in a time of 21.77.

Marywood returns to action this coming weekend when the Pacers travel to Virginia to take part in the Randolph Macon Invitational November 18-19.
