Rosemont, PA – A late charge by Marywood fell short Monday night as the Pacers fell to host Rosemont College 59-54 in CSAC men's basketball action outside Philadelphia. The Pacers, who fell to 12-12 and 8-9 in league play, now face a must-win situation when they host Centenary College Thursday night in the regular season finale for both teams.

Rosemont (7-16, 5-11 CSAC) snapped an eight game losing streak with the win while handing Marywood their first loss in the last four contests. Marywood led early but the Ravens responded and held a comfortable lead for much of the game. The Pacers led by as many as seven points, 18-11, with 11:34 left in the first, but Rosemont outscored the Pacers 22-3 over the next ten minutes to take a 33-21 lead with 1:30 left in the opening act.

The Pacers cut the host's lead to 57-54 and had one final possession to try to send the game to overtime, but a Jacques Robinson three-pointer came-up short forcing Marywood to foul with just seconds left.

Brent Keyes led three Pacers in double-figures with 11 points on the night. John Foreman and Matt Lepri each had 10. Justin Chaney led all scorers with a game-high 17 points for the Ravens. Harrison Carsillo added 16 for Rosemont.

Tip-off between Marywood and Centenary, which will likely determine one of the two final seeds in the upcoming CSAC tournament, is scheduled for 8:00 pm in Marywood's Insalaco Arena.
