La Plume, PA - Marywood University combined for 32 runs on 34 hits as the Pacers took both ends of its Colonial States Athletic Conference softball doubleheader with Keystone College, 20-3 and 12-2. With the sweep, Marywood levels their overall record at 7-7 and improves to 3-1 in the conference while the Giants fall to 6-8 on the year and 2-4 in the CSAC.

Kaitlyn Brennan drove in five runs on the three hits, which included a home run and double, in the opener to lead the Pacers.  Meghan Palmer, Jillian Flanagan and Kaitlyn Jones each added three hits, with Palmer knocking in three.

Shawna Sandy, Miranda Sorber and Jones each drove in two runs for the Pacers who scored in every inning but the fourth.  An 11-run fifth by Marywood invoked the mercy rule.

Jones was also strong on the mound, allowing three runs and striking out three in earning the win.

In the nightcap Marywood banged out 15 hits to complete the sweep.  Alexandra Stine homered as part of a four hit, three RBI game, while Kim Lope and Brennan each added three RBI.  Lope tripled and doubled, while Brennan also added a double.

Brennan earned the victory in game two, allowing one earned run and striking out three.

The Pacers are scheduled to host Gwynedd-Mercy College on Friday in a CSAC doubleheader scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. in Scranton.
