Langhorne, PA - Marywood University's Kaitlyn Brennan went 5-for-9 with two homers, a triple and eight RBI to lead Marywood University to a pair of wins over host Philadelphia Biblical University Friday afternoon in Langhorne.  The wins move Marywood to 10-4 in Colonial States Athletic Conference softball action and 14-10 overall, while the Crimson Eagles fall to 0-14 (0-8 CSAC).  Marywood got wins on the mound from Kaitlyn Jones and Jaclyn Parsons as Jones threw a three-hitter and Parsons struck out four.

In Marywood's opening game 16-1 win, Brennan was 3-for-5 at the plate with five RBI and two runs scored.  The first baseman homered for the Pacers as Marywood scored 14 runs over the first three innings.  Shawna Sandy was 3-for-3 at the plate with a homer, two doubles and three RBI while Miranda Sorber was also 3-for-3 with a double and homer.

Jones got the win for Marywood to improve to 5-3 on the year after allowing one run on four hits over a complete-game, five-inning performance.

In the nightcap, Jaclyn Parsons got the win on the mound as Marywood cruised to a 12-3 win in five innings.  Parsons (2-2) allowed three earned runs on eight hits while striking out four Crimson Eagles.  Brennan again homered in the nightcap and went 2-for-4 again, this time with three RBI.  Ashley Dommes also went long for the Pacers and finished the nightcap 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Kim Lope was 3-for-4 with three RBI while Alexandra Stine doubled and Brennan added a triple.

Marywood returns to action Sunday as they host the College of Notre Dame at 12:00 noon.
