Fredericksburg, VA - After a scoreless first half Centre College scored three times in the second half to pick up their second win of the season in the second day of the Mary Washington Tournament.  Marywood continues to struggle offensively against a strong opening slate of opponents and were shutout for the fourth consecutive game, falling to 0-4 on the year.

Despite being out-shot 6-0 in the opening stanza and the Colonels holding a 5-0 advantage in penalty corners, Marywood kept the game scoreless entering intermission thanks in large part to a strong defensive effort and two first half saves from Jamie Bowman.

Centre would break through nearly two and a half minutes into the second half as Anna Fuller scored unassisted.  Twelve minutes later Centre doubled their lead and would put the game out of reach with a tally from Sarh Jessee with just over ten minutes remaining.

Marywood returns to action Saturday when they host Notre Dame of Maryland University in CSAC action at 1:00 pm.
