Gwynedd Valley, PA – Casey Dellostretto and Brooke Stretch scored two goals apiece to lead Gwynedd-Mercy College to a 6-1 victory over Marywood University in Colonial States Athletic Conference field hockey action on Saturday. The Griffins improve to 5-3 on the season and 2-0 in conference play with the win while the Pacers see their record slide to 1-6 overall and 1-1 in the CSAC.

Dellostretto scored the game's first two goals to put Gwynedd-Mercy up 2-0 with 19:26 played in Saturday's contest. Stretch extended the hosts' lead with an unassisted goal 2:52 into the second half before Kathryn Morin scored unassisted for Marywood with 45:12 elapsed to cut the visitors' deficit to 3-1.

The Griffins would put the game out of reach with goals from three different players over a span of 3:27 late in the second half. 

Gwynedd-Mercy held a 23-2 advantage in shots for the game and had 12 penalty corners to none for the Pacers. Kelly Kruk earned the win after playing 58:30 without making a save before being relieved by Kaylin Bassett.

Jamie Bowman played the entire 70 minutes and made 12 stops in Marywood's cage and Morgan Walsh added a defensive save for the Pacers.

The Pacers return to action Wednesday when they visit Cedar Crest College in a CSAC tilt scheduled for 4:00 p.m. in Allentown.
