Allentown, PA - Erin Jones registered a hat-trick in the first half and Marywood got goals from four others as the Pacers rolled to a 8-2 win over host Cedar Crest College Tuesday afternoon in Allentown.  The win moves Marywood to 4-6 on the year and 3-1 in CSAC action, while the Falcons remain winless at 0-5-1 (0-3 CSAC).

After a scoreless first 17 minutes where Marywood could not seem to find the target, Olivia Habicht opened the scoring by taking a endline feed from Emma Nye and cut around one defender inside the six yard box before firing a shot to the far upper corner for the first goal of the game.  Just over a minute later Jones took a feed from Carly Kliment inside the 18 and beat the keeper for a 2-0 Marywood lead.

The hosts would cut into that lead 15 mintues later when Jennie Huber placed a 40-yard direct kick just over the out-stretched hands of Marywood keeper Emily Osborne and under the crossbard.  The Pacers would respond with three more first half goals over the final five minutes of action.

Jones got her second goal after Katie Barto crossed the ball in from the left wing.  Carly Kliment then put Marywood up 4-1 with her first collegiate goal as she followed a clear off a Marywood corner.  Kaitlyn Hresko and Lacey Habicht teamed for a short corner, and Habicht's shot was cleared from the goal line only to be put into the back of the net by the oncoming Kliment.

Jones finished her hat-trick after Siobhan Blancaflor fed her inside the 18, putting the Pacers up 5-1 at the break.  Marywood out-shot the Falcons 17-1 in the opening half.

Twelve minutes into the second half, Lacey Habicht's cross was re-directed into the back of the net by a Falcon defender, resulting in an own goal.  Jeanne Russo then put Marywood up 7-1 when she collected a pass from Emma Nye in front of the goal and beat Krysten Gillan.  Nye would then score unassisted to close out the scoring for Marywood before the Marywood gave up an own goal with just over 10 minutes remaining to make it 8-2.

Emily Osborne made one save in 57:30 of action for the Pacers to get the win, while Meredith Moore made three saves over the final 32:30.  Gillan played all 90 minutes in net for the hosts, collecting a game-high 15 saves.

Marywood returns to action Saturday when they play their fourth consecutive away game at Centenary College at 1:00 pm.
