Scranton, PA - Visiting Centenary College hit 87.5% of their three point attempts and 77% of their field goals from the floor in the second half as the Cyclones stormed back from an 18-point first half deficit to defeat host Marywood University 80-65 in Colonial States Athletic Conference men's basketball action Wednesday evening at Marywood's Insalaco Arena.  Centenary, who out-scored the Pacers 56-29 in the second half, improves to 8-9 overall and 4-6 in CSAC play while Marywood fell to 6-11, 5-5 CSAC.

Marywood had played a strong half defensively to build the 18-point lead with just over a minute to play, but some timely miscues and a couple easy buckets for the Cyclones allowed the visitors to get back to within 12 at halftime.  Marywood was hot from deep in the early going, connecting on 6 of 8 attempts from long range as the Pacers built a 36-24 lead.

The second half was completely different, however, as the Cyclones slowly chipped away at the Marywood lead.  Marywood missed some open looks in the paint and Centenary went inside to Larry Lenahan for easy buckets.

The Cyclones eventually tied the game at 54-54 on a three-pointer by Warren Murphy and then went up 59-56 on a three by Colin Horsch.  From there, the Cylones would not relinquish whas was their only lead of the game.  Centenary held Marywood to 0-of-6 shooting from three-point land in the second half.

Lenahan led three Cylones in double-figures with 18 points.  Andy Charles (16 points) and Max Hughes (15 points) also reached double-digits.  Marywood was led by Matt Lepri's game-high 21 points.  Brent Keyes (14 points) and Shane Kellaher (11 points) also reached double-digits for Marywood.

Marywood will look to rebound when they host Immaculata Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm.
