Scranton, PA - Marywood University got 13 kill from Ashley Zalewski and a match high 35 assists from Kelly Chadwick as the Pacers took down visiting Cedar Crest College 3-1 in Colonial States Athletic Conference women's volleyball action Monday evening at Marywood's Insalaco Arena.  The Pacers, who improved to 11-7 overall and 4-2 in CSAC play, won by scores of 25-16, 20-25, 25-16 and 25-13.  Cedar Crest fell to 7-9, 1-3 CSAC with the loss.

Marywood opened the match strong, collecting a 25-16 win in the opening set, but the Falcons roared back and took a close second set by a score of 25-20 to level the match at 1-1.  From there it was all Marywood though as the Pacers dominated in sets three and four to pick up their fourth league win of the year.

Marywood's Zalewski led the Pacers with 13 kills while teammate Sara Melick added 11 kills.  Rachel Tollet had a match-high 24 digs to lead Marywood while Amy Kester had two solo blocks for the Pacers. 

Jessica Lobien led Cedar Crest with a match high 15 kills while sister Debra had a team-high 25 assists. 

Marywood returns to action this Wednesday when they travel to Langhorne to take on Cairn University in CSAC action at 7:00pm.
