Scranton, PA - Marywood University beat visiting Cedar Crest College 9-0 in women's tennis action Friday afternoon, helping the Pacers improve to 9-2 overall and 9-0 in CSAC play while also setting up a Saturday showdown with fellow unbeaten Gwynedd-Mercy College with the top seed in next weekend's CSAC team championships on the line.  Marywood will host the Griffins (11-1, 9-0 CSAC) at 1:00pm Saturday.

Megan Nastelli and Kara Hoff got the Pacers rolling in #1 doubles play with an 8-0 win over Cassandra Bejar and Jenny Clay, and the Pacers' #3 duo of Lauren Fersch and Emily Hoskins were 8-1 victors.  In the closest doubles match, Melissa Hudock and Kristen Lambert had little trouble with Amy Frey and Kyleen Sisson at #2 doubles as Marywood won, 8-4.

In singles action, Hudock won 6-0, 6-0 over Bejar at #2 singles and Hoskins was a 6-1, 6-0 victor over Rakia Otoo at #4 singles.  Hoff earned a 6-2, 6-2 win at #1 singles over Frey while Natelli, playing at #3 singles, won 6-1, 6-1 against Frey.  Fersch picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win at #6 singles while Lambert closed out the win for Marywood with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Sisson.
