Scranton, PA - Marywood University leveled their overall record at .500 on the year and the Pacers remained unbeaten in CSAC action (7-0-1) with a big 6-1 win over visiting Immaculata University Tuesday afternoon in Scranton.  Coupled with Rosemont edging Neumann 2-1 in Tuesday leagu play, the Pacers are now the only unbeaten team in the CSAC heading into Saturday's showdown with Neumann.  Marywood got goals from five different players and a multiple point games from Lauren Eck, Emma Nye and Erin Doyle in the win.

Eck opened the scoring for the Pacers at the 14:17 mark when she blasted a 16 yard shot from the left sideline.  Eck's shot was tipped by Mighty Mac goalkeeper Meghan McCurnin but still found far-post netting for the game's opening score.  Less than 30 seconds later the Pacers doubled their advantage when Jordan Salgado scored on a 20-yard blast from straight on.

Just under nine minutes later, Nye made it 3-0 in favor of the hosts when she took a feed from Eck with a 12-yard strike off a give-and-go in the box.  Doyle would score her first of two on the day in the 41st minute when she slid to poke in a feed from Nye that was re-directed by Brianna Kuperavage.  Both Nye and Kuperavage were credited with assists on the play.  Then, just before halftime, Doyle made it 5-0 in favor of Marywood off another feed from Nye with an 18-yard blast.

Early in the second half, Siobhan Blancaflor scored unassisted when she out-fought a defender and put a shot past McCurning to make it 6-0 Marywood.  The Mighty Macs would not go quietly though as they spoiled the Pacers' shutout bid in the 75th minute when Rachel Gannon found Robin Valerio on a give and go just outside the box.  Marywood keeper Emily Osborne made a nice effort a the short-distance break by Immaculata but Valerio slipped her to make it 6-1.

The Pacers out-shot Immaculata 29-6 on the day and had a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.  Victoria Pezdirtz made two saves in the opening 45 minutes for Marywood while Osborne played the second half.  McCurnin had seven saves for Immaculata.

Marywood hosts Neumann Saturday at 3:00pm.  The Pacers will look to avenge their only regular season CSAC defeat from a year ago after the Knights edged the Pacers 1-0 in overtime in Aston in 2011.
