Rosemont, PA - Marywood University was handed their first CSAC loss of the season as host Rosemont College broke open a 1-1 game with two late goals and the Ravens won, 3-1.  In a battle of league leaders, it was the hosts that came away with the win to move to 9-5-1 overall and 7-1-1 in the CSAC.  Marywood, who got a goal from Ryan Jones, fell to 8-5-2 (5-1-1 CSAC) and saw a seven game unbeaten streak come to an end.

After a scoreless first half in which Rosemont held a slight 9-7 advantage in shots, the Ravens' Luke McIlvaine ripped a shot from 15 yards out off a cross from Sergio Martinez to put the hosts up 1-0.  The Pacers quickly responded less than five minutes later though as Jones scored high into the goal on a direct kick after a foul.

Twenty more scoreless minutes would ensue before Rodney Aguirre took the game over for Rosemont.  Aguirre scored off a stolen ball to the lower right corner of the net in the 72nd minute before putting home a penalty kick exactly four minutes later for an insurance goal.

Rosemont held a 19-17 advantage in shots for the game and an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.  Marywood's Shane Quinn made four saves in the loss while Nick Hulayew made four saves in the win.

Marywood returns to action Wednesday night when they host Cabrini College at 7:00pm. The game will be televised live on local television by MyNetworkTV.
