Baltimore, MD - After dropping the opening set to host Notre Dame of Maryland University Saturday, Marywood University responded with three straight wins to down the Gators 3-1 in Colonial States Athletic Conference women's volleyball action Saturday in Baltimore.  Marywood improved to 12-9 overall and 5-3 in the CSAC with the win while Notre Dame fell to 6-15, 2-6 CSAC.

The host Gators took a tight opening game 25-23 before the Pacers rattled off three straight victories to snap a two-match losing streak. Marywood won game two 25-18 then cruised to 25-7 and 25-11 wins in games three and four, respectively.

Ashley Cavallier and Ashley Zalewski each had 12 kills for Marywood while Cortney Silvis of Notre Dame had a match-high 14 kills.  Kelly Chadwick had a match-high 35 assists while Sara Melick added 25.  Rachel Tollet had 14 digs and Amy Kester had 11 digs and two solo blocks in the win for Marywood.

The Pacers return to the court Tuesday when they travel to take on Gwynedd-Mercy College in CSAC action at 7:00pm.
