Gwynedd Valley, PA - Visiting Marywood University won a close opening set 25-21 then cruised through the next two games to take a 3-0 win over host Gwynedd-Mercy College Tuesday evening in Gwynedd Valley.  Marywood won game two 25-17 and game three 25-16 in improving to 13-9, 6-3 CSAC on the year. The loss drops the Griffins to 3-22, 2-7 CSAC.

The Pacers got a match-high 25 assists from Kelly Chadwick in the win and got twelve digs from both Jessica Lynne Swida and Rachel Tollett.  Sara Melick led the Pacers with a match-high eight kills while Swida added seven kills.  Ashley Cavallier and Amy Kester both had six kills in the win for Marywood.  Tollett added four service aces while Cavallier and Swida each had three.

Marywood hosts Baptist Bible College Thursday evening at 7:00pm in a crucial CSAC matchup. A win against the Defenders can guarantee the Pacers a spot in the CSAC post-season tournament.
