Scranton, PA - Marywood University tied Cabrini College 1-1 in a key Colonial States Athletic Conference men's soccer game that was televised live by MyNetworkTV Wednesday evening at Marywood's turf field.  The Pacers held a 22-9 advantage in shots for the game but could only find the back of the net on a header from Zachary Oster on the night.  Marywood moves to 8-5-3, 5-1-2 CSAC with the draw while the Cavaliers now stand at 8-7-3, 5-2-2 CSAC.

The Pacers dominated offensively from the onset, out-shooting the visitors 11-5 in the opening period, but it was not until the 39th minute of play before Marywood found the back of the net.  At 38:41, Oster headed a cross from Ryan Jones, which was flicked on by Daniel Hull, into the back corner of the net to beat Cabrini netminder Eric Nowicki and give the hosts a 1-0 lead they would hold until intermission.

Just under six minutes into the second half Cabrini responded with an unassisted tally from Kyle Johnson.  The Cavaliers would later have two goals called back, one on a close offsides call and one when three players crashed into Marywood keeper Shane Quinn.

Each team had several looks at goal in overtime, but neither could find the game-winner.  Nowicki had a game-high six saves for Cabrini while Quinn made one stop in overtime to preserve the tie.

Marywood closes out the CSAC regular season this Saturday at Cairn University in a 2:00pm game.  The Pacers can clinch the #3 seed in the upcoming playoffs and a home game in the first round Tuesday with a win against the Highlanders.
