Dallas, PA - Host Misericordia University got two individual wins from Pat Dunnigan and Dunnigan won again in the 400 medley relay as the Cougars downed visiting Marywood University 117-86 Wednesday evening in non-conference men's swimming action.  Zachary Haney won the 200 freestyle and finished second in the 500 free while the Pacers' 400 free relay team also came out winners on the night.  Marywood moves to 1-3 on the young season while Misericordia improved to 1-1 on the year.

Haney's time of 1:50.87 was good enough to edge Misericordia's Christopher Gleason (1:51.77) in the 200 while Haney's time of 5:06.02 came up just short in the 500.  Marywood's 400 free relay team of Haney, Jason Beabout, Anthony Pisano and Daniel Adams won in a time of 3:21.58.  Christopher Brown finished second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.87 while Brian Shanahan (58.39) and Michael Stauffer (1:01.10) finished two-three in the 100 backstroke.  Adams finished second in the 100 free in a time of 50.80 while Pisano finished third with a 51.10. 

Marywood returns to the pool this Friday and Saturday as the Pacers travel to Baltimore, Maryland to take part in the Thomas Murphy Invitational, hosted by Loyola University.
