Scranton, PA - Shannon Stoll had three goals and an assist to lead Marywood University to a 6-0 win over Notre Dame of Maryland University Saturday afternoon in Scranton.  Stoll's career day lifts the Pacers to 4-7-1 on the year and keeps Marywood unbeaten (4-0-1) in CSAC play.  Notre Dame fell to 4-6, 1-5 CSAC with the loss.

Stoll opened the scoring just 1:59 into the contest when she ripped home a direct kick from just outside the 18 yard box.  Stoll's blast did not give Gator net-minder Heather Lancellotti enough time to react as it snuck in just under the crossbar for the game's first goal.  Nearly three minutes later, Emma Nye made it 2-0 in favor of Marywood when she headed home a cross from Lauren Eck.  Lancellotti got a piece of Eck's cross but Nye was waiting behind her to touch the insurance goal home.

In the 33rd minute, Carly Kliment one-timed a feed from Stoll to make it 3-0 Marywood and the Pacers added a fourth first half goal when Stoll one-timed a cross from Krista Capelli.

Stoll completed her hat-trick with just under 20 minutes left when she cut inside the left edge of the 18 yard box, took two touches and blasted a shot to the near upper ninety.  Rachel Lamoreaux scored her first collegiate goal to make it 6-0 in the 81st minute.  Alixandria Fiore was credited with the assist as she settled a cross and dropped the ball to Lamoreaux as Fiore was being challenged by Lancellotti.

Marywood held a 26-4 advantage in shots for the game.  Notre Dame had two good looks midway through the first half when they were down 2-0, but a breakaway from Christline Kimball was stopped by Emily Osborne and another shot from Kimball that came off a corner kick was cleared off the goal line by Fiore.

Three keepers preserved the shutout for Marywood as Osborne played the opening 45 minutes and made the one save.  Victoria Pezdirtz (34:54) and Meredith Moore (9:20) each played in the second half without seeing a shot.

Marywood returns to the field Tuesday when they travel to nearby Clarks Summit to take on Baptist Bible College in CSAC action.  Game-time is set for 3:00pm.
