Kim Peterson won the 200 IM, 50 breaststroke and 100 breaststroke in Marywood's 168-77 win over Drew Saturday Marywood Handles Drew in 168-77 Win Women's Swimming and Diving - 11/10/2012 3:11:00 PM Meet Results Scranton, PA - Marywood University easily handled visiting Drew University a 168-77 defeat as the Pacers improved to 2-1 in Landmark Conference swimming and diving action with a win over the Rangers. Drew fell to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in Landmark meets while Marywood improved to 2-7 overall with the win. Marywood opened the event with a win in the 200 yard medley relay from the team of Olivia Hower, Kim Petersoen, Amber Sharkey and Kara Hoff. Drew's Jordan Bader won the 1000 free in 12:09.38 while Marywood's Kayleigh Velott finished second ina t ime of 12:23.67. In the 200 free, Katie Paterson won in 2:05.86 for the Pacers, edging Drew's Mariel Schwinger who touched in 2:06.22. In the 100 backstroke, Drew's Jessica Harrington won in a time of 1:04.57 while Hower (1:07.69) and Velott (1:10.40) finished in second and third for Marywood. Petersen then won the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:14.33 and Paterson won the 50 butterfly in 29:80. Sharkey finished second in the butterfly with a time of 30.29 while Emma Fritzingter finished third with a 32.42. Valerie Barlow won the 50 free for Marywood in 27.04 and Velott finished second in the 100 free (1:01.60) while Hoff finished third in the 100 free in a time of 1:01.96. In the 50 backstroke Marywood took second (Keri Bensley, 33.79) and third (Barlow, 34.33) while Petersen picked up her second win of the day in the 50 yard breaststroke (33.92). Paterson won the 500 free in 5:39.61 and Sharkey took the 100 butterfly in 1:07.59. Petersen's third win came in the 200 IM after she won with a time of 2:25.63. The Pacers closed out the meet with a win from their 200 freestyle relay team of Hoff, Velott, Paterson and Barlow (1:48.44).
