Marywood University's four-game winning streak came to an end Monday as No. 13 Lebanon Valley College upended the Pacers, 73-40, in non-conference women's basketball action. Tara Macciocco's squad struggled from the field, making 20 percent (13-of-65) of its shots for the game.

Danielle Terranella debuted for the Pacers, and led the team with nine points. The Olyphant, Pa. native contributed with six rebounds.

Courtney Murray paced Marywood with nine rebounds, including five on the offensive glass. Brittany Mang's seven-game double-digit streak also ended; the junior point guard finished with six points.

The Flying Dutchmen won the rebounding game by a 64-37 margin. Lebanon Valley had three players
 – Caitlin Bach, Renee Fritz, Tierney Hiltz – with double-digit rebounding outings.

Fritz and Hiltz posted double-doubles for Lebanon Valley with 15 points and 11 rebounds, and 11 points and 10 rebounds, respectively. Liz Borgia pitched in with 11 points.

Lebanon Valley jumped out to a 12-2 lead from the start. A 10-3 Pacers run, capped by a Morgann Haduck 3-pointer, brought the Marywood to within a one possession of the Dutchmen at 15-12 with 8:06 remaining in the first half. From there, Lebanon Valley went on a 14-point run and held the Pacers without a field goal for the next 6:37.

Lindsey Schroth hit a layup just before the buzzer to go to halftime at a 33-19 deficit.

The Flying Dutchmen kept the Pacers at a distance in the second half. Marywood inched its way to within 12 of the nationally-ranked Commonwealth Conference opponent but its presence in the paint was too much to overcome.

After the loss, Marywood enjoys a 17-day break until it travels to Cairn for a CSAC matchup on Jan. 3. The Pacers return home Jan. 5 to face Delaware Valley College at 1 p.m.
