Scranton, PA - Seventh-ranked Cabrini College had four players in double-figures and used a well-balanced scoring attack as the Cavaliers improved to 15-0 in Colonial States Athletic Conference men's basketball action with a 76-63 win over host Marywood University Saturday.  Cabrini, 21-1 overall, got a team-high 14 points from Aaron Walton-Moss while Marywood, who fell to 8-13 (7-7 CSAC) with the loss, got a game-high 18 points from Brent Keyes.

After the visitors jumped out to a 9-2 lead over the opening two minutes of play, they would never relinquish the lead.  A 5-0 run from the Pacers got Marywood right back into the game, however, a 6-0 run from the Cavaliers over the next two minutes allowed the visitors to go back up 15-7 with 13:33 still to play in the opening half.  From there, Cabrini stretched their lead to as many as 19 before Marywood, down 33-14, used a 9-0 run to get back to within 10 with just over a minute and a half left.  A three from Cabrini's Fran Rafferty extened the visitors lead to 13, 36-23, at the break.

Marywood would get no closer in the second half despite shooting much better from the floor. Following a 32% effort in the first half, Marywood sank 52% of their attempts in the second frame.  Unfortunately for the Pacers, the Cavaliers were equally as sharp, nailing 58% of their attempts for the second half and nearly 54% for the game.

Cory Lemons nearly completed a triple-double for the Cavaliers after finishing the day with 11 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds.  AJ Wiliams also had 11 for the visitors while Rafferty added 10.

Keyes led all scorers with 18 on 6 of 11 shooting from the floor.  Pierre Bakinde (11 points) and Ryan Corrigan (10 points) also reached double-digits for Marywood.

The Pacers return to action Wednesday when they travel to nearby LaPlume to face Keystone College at 8:00 pm.
