Clarks Summit, PA - Marywood University allowed the first points of the season against conference opponents with a loss at one-doubles but the Pacers bounced back and beat Gwynedd-Mercy College 8-1 in CSAC men's tennis action Sunday afternoon at the Birchwood Tennis Club in Clarks Summit.  Marywood, now 7-5 overall and 5-0 in the CSAC, earned 6-0, 6-0 victories at two through five singles play en route to the win.

Todd Doran and Evan Bolus suffered their first conference loss of the season against Armando Fraile and Jared Morgan, but the Pacers' duo bounced back for impressive victories in singles play.  Doran defeated Morgan at one-singles 6-2, 6-1 before Bolus blanked Fraile 6-0, 6-0 at two-singles. 

Marywood got 6-0, 6-0 victories from Daniel Pfafman, Ryan Mulqueen and Ethan Jones and Wyatt Nolan picked up a forfeit win at six-singles.  Pfafman and Nolan teammed for an 8-0 win at two-doubles over Harry Guenst and Krist Potemski, while Marywood's three-doubles duo of Ethan Jones and Ryan Mulqueen also picked up a forfeit win.

Marywood returns to action next Friday when they host Keystone College at 3:00pm.
