Radnor, PA - Marywood University extened their conference regular season unbeaten streak to 22 matches and secured their third straight unbeaten CSAC regular season as the Pacers downed host Cabrini College 8-1 in men's tennis action Saturday afternoon in Radnor. With the win, Marywood improved to 9-5 on the year and secured the top seed in next weekend's CSAC team championships.  The Cavaliers, who were handed their only CSAC loss, fall to 6-13 (6-1 CSAC) and will be the #2 seed.

Marywood cruised through doubles play as all three teams won by a score of 8-1.  In singles play, Todd Doran finsihed an unbeaten CSAC regular season (7-0) at #1 singles with a 6-3, 6-2 win while Evan Bolus also remained unbeaten in the two-singles flight with a 6-0, 6-1 win.  Daniel Pfafman also moved to 7-0 with a win after his opponent was forced to retire in the second set with Pfafman up 6-0, 3-2, and Ethan Jones also stayed perfect in singles competition with a 6-0, 6-1 win at five singles.  Wyatt Nolan is also unbeaten at 6-0 with a 6-2, 6-3 win at six singles, while Ryan Mulqueen was handed his only conference loss, falling 6-2, 3-6, 3-6 at four singles play.

For the year, Marywood had five of six singles players finished with unblemished conference records and two of three doubles teams do the same.  Marywood only gave up two points all year in CSAC play, winning five of their seven matches by a score of 9-0 and the other two by a score of 8-1.  Marywood's only blemishes were Mulqueen's singles loss today and a loss from Todd Doran and Evan Bolus in #1 doubles play against Gwynedd-Mercy.

The Pacers' and Cavaliers' opponents for next Friday's semifinal matches are not yet known. The CSAC Championship will kick off at 9:00am on Friday at the Northwood Racquet Club in Easton.
