Scranton, PA - Marywood University's Evan Bolus held off Nate Dimmie from Mt. St. Mary College 7-6 (7-4) in a second set tiebreaker to lift the Pacers to a 5-4 win over the visiting Knights in non-conference men's tennis action Tuesday afternoon in Scranton.  Bolus won the first set 6-2 and his victory gave Marywood, now 3-5  on the year, their second consecutive win.  Mt. St. Mary College fell to 5-4 with the loss.

Despite a win from Bolus and teammate Todd Doran at one-doubles (8-5), Marywood trailed 2-1 after the completion of doubles after the Knights won at two and three-doubles by identical scores of 8-4. 

Heading into singles play, Doran picked up a 6-3, 6-4 win over Greg Jacob to even the match and Daniel Pfafman and Ryan Mulqueen each won for the Pacers at three and four singles, respectively, to give Marywood four points.  Mt. St. Mary got wins from Mike McNicholas and Zach Conlon at five and six singles, but Bolus' fifth singles win of the year gave the Pacers the win.

Marywood returns to the courts Thursday when they host Neumann University in CSAC action at 3:30pm.
