Dallas, PA – Marywood University's three match win streak was snapped on Monday night as the Pacers dropped a 3-0 decision at Misericordia University in non-conference volleyball action.  Three Cougars recorded double-digit kills as Misericordia improved to 4-3 on the season while Marywood sees their record drop to 6-2 this fall.
 
The Cougars won the first set 25-20 before taking a pair of tight games, 25-22 and 28-26, to escape with the win.
 
Misericordia's Cailin McCullion led all players with 17 kills while Kat LaBrie added 16 kills and Meghan Stack put down 11 kills.  Nicole Korgeski led all players with 30 assists while adding three service aces.
 
Marywood got six kills apiece from Amy Kester and Sara Melick while Ashley Cavellier added five kills and 11 digs.  Kelly Chadwick led the Pacers with 26 assists.
 
Rachel Tollett, who broke Marywood's all-time record for career digs this past weekend and was named the CSAC Player of the Week, collected a match-best 15 digs on Monday night and Mackenzie Goodwin tied for a match-high three service aces.  
 
Marywood will next compete in the Knights Invitational hosted by Neumann University this Friday and Saturday.  The Pacers open against the host Knights in a CSAC match-up at 2:30 p.m. before taking on Rutgers-Camden at 6:30 p.m.
