Marywood Blanks Keystone, Moves to 5-0 in CSAC

LaPlume, PA - Marywood University won all doubles matches by a score of 8-2 and two singles players won 6-0, 6-0 as the Pacers defeated host Keystone College in CSAC women's tennis action Friday afternoon in LaPlume.  Marywood improved to 5-1 on the year and remain unbeaten in Conference play at 5-0 while the Giants fellt o 1-4 (1-3 CSAC) with the loss.

Marywood's Kara Hoff and Megan Nastelli teamed for the win at #1 doubles while Emily Hoskins and Melissa Hudock partnered at #2.  At three doubles, it was the team of Kristen Lambert and Elizabeth Sullivan that took down Keystone's Delanie Schaepe and KateLynn Stickler to put Marywood up 3-0 heading into singles action.

In singles play, Hoff and Nastelli each won 6-0, 6-0 at one and three singles, respectively, while Hudock was a 6-3, 6-0 winner over Rebecca Seager at #2 singles.  At four singles Hoskins was a 6-0, 6-2 winer while Lambert earned a 6-2, 6-1 win over Schaepe at #5 singles.  Lauren Fersch rounded out the win for Marywood with a 6-1, 6-0 win at #6 singles.

Marywood returns to the courts tomorrow as they host Rosemont in CSAC action at 1:00pm.
