Radnor, PA – Cabrini College scored with 8:10 left in the first overtime as the host Cavaliers edged Marywood 2-1 Saturday afternoon in Scranton.  Kerry Anne Farrell rebounded her own shot that Marywood's Natalie Winters save, and a desperation defensive save by Marywood just missed as the hosts escaped with the win.  Cabrini improves to 4-4 overall and 2-0 in the CSAC while the Pacers fall to 1-4 (1-1 CSAC).

Cabrini opened the scoring in the 17th minute when Katie Savage scored on a penalty stroke to put the Cavaliers up 1-0.  Marywood's Julie Kowalski scored with 19:20 left in the second half to knot the game at 1-1 as she took the ball in from just beyond midfield for a breakaway and slotted the ball to the far post past Cabrini's Genevieve Paulin.

Marywood had a penalty corner with just under 10 minutes remaining but shots by Carly Bergstrom and Kathryn Morin were saved by Paulin.  The Cavaliers got the last look in regulation with a penalty corner with under ten second's remaining but Rita McKeown's shot was saved by Natalie Winters to force overtime.

Winters made 12 saves for the Pacers.  Paulin finished with two stops for Cabrini.

Marywood returns to action Tuesday when they travel to nearby King's College for a 4:00pm non-conference matchup with the Monarchs.
