Scranton, PA - Seven different players tallied points on the afternoon and Marywood's defense shutout their third straight CSAC opponent to open the season as Marywood rolled Keystone College 6-0 in women's soccer action Tuesday afternoon.  Lauren Eck scored twice, Emma Nye and Siobhan Blancaflor each had a goal and an assist and Alixandria Fiore had two helpers to help Marywood improve to 2-0-1 in CSAC action.  Marywood's defense allowed just four shots en route to their third consecutive clean slate to open league play.

The Pacers (2-5-1) opened the scoring just :25 into the contest as Emma Nye one-time volleyed in a long low drive cross from Rachel Lamoreaux from the right flank.  13:30 later, Jocelyn Rutter scored the first goal of her collegiate career as she one-time finished a cross from Fiore from just outside the 18 yard box.

Blancaflor made it 3-0 in the 20th minute after she settled a Fiore cross and scored off the post.  With just :03 remaining in the half, Carly Kliment picked up her first goal of the season when she chipped Keystone goaltender Katelyn Coon for a 4-0 Marywood lead.

Marywood would add two goals in the second half, both of which came from the foot of Lauren Eck.  Eck, Marywood's leading scorer (four goals), finished a thru ball from Blancaflor in the 61st minute and one-timed a pass from Nye which started with the Pacers attacking on a 2-on-1 break.

Three different Marywood keepers helped keep a clean slate without making a save.  Victoria Pezdirtz played the opening 45 minutes while Emily Osborne (33:35) and Meredith Moore (11:25) each saw time in the second half.  Marywood's lone save of the game came when Keystone's Krissy Novak got a shot off on a corner kick, only to have it cleared off the line by Marywood's Fiore.

The Pacers return to action Saturday when they host Richard Stockton College on homecoming/family weekend.  It will be the first ever meeting between the Pacers and Ospreys. Kick-off is set for 1:00pm.
