Scranton, PA – Daniel Hull scored his first collegiate goal in the 69th minute off a Kris Kassel feed to help Marywood University salvage a 1-1 tie with visiting King's College in non-conference men's soccer action on Wednesday afternoon.  Both teams see their records move to 1-1-1 on the young season after the draw.

Neither team was able to break through in the first half, with the Pacers holding a slim, 6-5 advantage in shots for the period.  A header by Marywood's Brandon Ritter late in the period was tipped just over the bar by King's goalkeeper Mark Labbadia to keep the game scoreless at the break.

The Monarchs broke the tied just 3:29 into the second half when Daniel Hernandez finished off a low cross from David Stroh to put the visitors up 1-0.

Marywood battled back and finally broke through at the 68:07 mark when Kassel curled a nice cross into the penalty area that Hull headed home to the near post for his first collegiate goal and tying the game at 1-1.

The Pacers took over much of the pressure the remainder of the game, including holding a 6-2 advantage in shots in the two overtime periods, but were unable to find the game-winner.

Marywood held a 17-12 advantage in shots for the game while King's held a slim, 6-5 edge in corner kicks.  Shane Quinn made four saves in goal for Marywood while Labbadia finished the contest with seven stops for the Monarchs.

The Pacers are back in action on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Alfred, NY to take on Alfred University in a non-conference game scheduled to kickoff at 4:00 p.m.
