Wilkes-Barre, PA - Marywood University remained unbeaten on the 2012 season Wednesday night with a 3-1 at Wilkes University in non-conference volleyball action.  Ashley Zalewski led all players with 12 kills, Kelly Chadwick dished out 21 assists, and four players recorded at least 12 digs to lead the Pacers to the win as they improved to 3-0 on the season.
 
Marywood won Wednesday night's first game 25-23 before the Colonels, now 2-3 on the year, won game two, 25-10.  The Pacers rebounded to seal the wins with back-to-back wins of 25-21 and 25-16 in sets three and four, respectively.   
 
Zalewski's 12 kills came on a .222 hitting percentage which led the team.  Amy Kester and Sara Melick added six kills apiece in the win as Marywood hit .162 as a team for the evening.  Chadwick added 12 digs and four kills to her team-leading 21-assist effort.
 
Rachel Tollett led the Pacers with 24 digs while Kester and Mackenzie Goodwin, along with Chadwick, added 12 digs apiece.  Ashley Cavellier tied for a match-best with three service aces in the victory. 
 
Marywood returns to the court on Friday at the Scranton Invitational hosted by crosstown foe, the University of Scranton.  The Pacers take on the host Royals at 4:00 p.m. before meeting Keystone College at 6:00 p.m. and will close out the tournament with a pair of matches on Saturday afternoon.
