Aston, PA - Marywood University won five of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches en route to a 7-2 win over host Neumann University Sunday afternoon in CSAC Women's Tennis action.  Marywood improved to 2-0 (2-0 CSAC) with the win while Neumann fell to 0-2 (0-1 CSAC) with the loss.

Marywood picked up a forfeit win at both #3 doubles and #6 singles.  In doubles action, Kara Hoff and Megan Nastelli beat Bre Klar and Sarah Schroeder 9-7.  Neumann won at two-doubles 8-3 to make it 2-1 in favor of Marywood heading into singles action.

The Knights would get another point at #1 singles as Klar bested Hoff 6-3, 4-6, 10-5.  Marywood would then sweep 2-5 singles play to earn the win.  Carly Leitzel was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at #2 singles while Melissa Hudock won at #3 singles, 6-3, 6-0.  Nastelli earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at #4 singles and Emily Hoskins closed out the win for Marywood with a 6-2, 6-1 win at #5 singles.

Marywood returns to action Friday when they host Baptist Bible College in CSAC action at 3:30pm.
