Langhorne, PA - Kendall Harris scored 31 points and Ryan Corrigan added 23 as the duo combined for 54 of Marywood's 76 points in a 12-point win (76-64) over host Cairn University Wednesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference men's basketball action.  The win moves Marywood to 4-12 overall and 3-6 in CSAC play, while the Highlanders fell to 1-13 (0-9 CSAC) with the loss.

After scoring eight points on 4-of-5 shooting in the first half, Harris caught fire in the second half, scoring 23 points on a perfect 8-for-8 effort from the floor. Corrigan led Marywood in scoring at intermission with 12 points. While foul shooting had been an issue for Marywood in previous games with the Pacers only connecting on 65% of their freebies, the visitors would not struggle from the charity stripe against Cairn as Marywood made 25 of their 31 attempts (80.6%).  The Highlanders, meanwhile, only made 11 trips to the line on the night.

Marywood held a slight 34-32 lead at intermission thanks to 42% first half shooting, but the Pacers really heated up in the second half, connecting on 60% of their shots to extend their lead and pick up the win.

Marywood returns to the hardwood Saturday when it hosts Rosemont College at 3 p.m. in the Insalaco Arena.
