Scranton, PA - Danielle Terranella and Brittany Mang each posted double-doubles to guide Marywood University women's basketball to a 64-50 victory over Rosemont Saturday in the Insalaco Arena. The Pacers avenge their Colonial States Athletic Conference defeat of the season, and outlasted the Ravens in a battle between two one-loss teams.

Marywood's backcourt flustered the Ravens. Rosemont (10-6 overall, 7-2 CSAC) missed all 20 of its 3-point shots taken.

Terranella and Mang each contributed their first double-doubles of the season. Terranella scored 13 points and picked up 10 rebounds. Mang netted 12 points and also garnered 10 boards. Both are the first Pacers (10-7 overall, 7-1 CSAC) with double-doubles since Carly Leitzel produced the feat against Penn State-Hazleton on Nov. 30, 2012.

Morgann Haduck led Pacer scorers with 14 points, helped in part by a 9-for-10 free-throw performance. Nora Joyce also reached double figures with 12 points.

Marywood kept the nation's leading scorer Ashley Montecchio to a 4-for-20 (5 percent) shooting performance. Montecchio finished with 23 points, based predominantly on a 15-for-18 outing from the charity stripe, and 17 rebounds.

The Pacers' defense presented issues for the entire Ravens team, which made only 21.7 percent of its shots for the game. Rosemont made just six shots and missed 13 trey during the second half. Mang recorded five steals, and the Ravens turned the ball over 22 times.

A double-digit lead was cut to four points at the break following a six-point Raven run to end the half.

Rosemont kept the game close early on in the second half. Marywood went on an eight-point run, capped by a Joyce 3-pointer that put the Pacers ahead by 12 with 14:08 remaining. From there, the Ravens would get as close as seven points but Mang intercepted a Montecchio pass and drove the court for a layup at 6:22. Mang's bucket was the last time the Ravens' deficit was kept under 10.

For the game, Marywood shot 36.5 percent (23-of-63).

Marywood previously lost to Rosemont 70-60 on Jan. 9 in Rosemont, PA.

The Pacers return to action Wednesday when they host Cedar Crest College at 7 p.m.
