Scranton, PA - Kendall Harris scored a game-high 25 points and Shane Kellaher had 21 on eight of 11 shooting from the floor as Marywood University downed Cairn 84-70 in Colonial States Athletic Conference men's basketball action Saturday afternoon at the Pacers' Insalaco Arena.  Marywood improved to 6-13, 5-7 CSAC with the win while the Highlanders remain winless in CSAC play at 0-13 and dropped to 1-17 overall.  Andrew Andrle also reached double figures for Marywood with a 14 point night.

Marywood was consistent from the floor all night, but it was really the Pacers' perimeter defense that set the tone in the first half.  Marywood limited the Highlanders to 7.7% shoot5ing from three point range in the first half and a 4 of 20 effort from long range overall en route to the win.  The Pacers, up 29-23 with five minutes left in the first half, out-scored Cairn 12-0 down the stretch and took a 41-23 lead into intermission. 

The second half proved no different, as Marywood connected on 50% of their shots from the floor, stretching their lead to as many as 22 througout the period to keep the Highlanders at bay.

Harris hit 5 of 7 on the charity stripe and 10 of 17 from the floor for his game-high 25 points while Kellaher was 8 of 11 from the floor and a perfect 3-for-3 from behind the arc to collect 21.  Andrle was 3 of 6 from long range for 14 points and grabbed a team-high eight boards.

Reuben Lacy led the Highlanders with the game's lone double-double after recording 21 points and grabbing a game-high 16 boards.  Charles Hopkins added 18 for Cairn and Aaron Stovall added 14.

Marywood returns to action Monday night when they travel to Aston to take on Neumann University in CSAC play at 8:00pm.
