Clarks Summit, PA - Marywood University blanked host Baptist Bible College 9-0 in women's tennis CSAC action, setting up a showdown with CSAC unbeaten Cabrini College Saturday with the potential top seed and second seed in the upcoming playoffs on the line.  Marywood (7-1, 6-1 CSAC) allowed just six points in singles play en route to the win over the Defenders (0-11, 0-7 CASC).

After Marywood's Carly Leitzel and Melissa Hudock beat Kay Black and Bliss Lecea 8-1 in #1 doubles action, Marywood got a pair of 8-2 wins at #2 and #3 doubles to build a 3-0 lead heading into singles play. Megan Nastelli and Elspeth Peterson won at #2 for the Pacers while Meghan Faxon and Melanie Kobela teamed at #3 for the victory.

In singles, Nastelli (#3) and Devon Underwood (#6) both won by scores of 6-0, 6-0, while Leitzel (#1) and Rebecca Lukasak (#5) won 6-0, 6-0.  Hudock was a 6-1, 6-1 winner over Dahlia Orth at #2 singles and Kristen Lambert earned a 6-0, 6-2 win at #4 singles for Marywood at #4 singles.

Marywood hosts Cabrini Saturday at 1:00 pm.  A win by Marywood will guarantee the Pacers the #2 seed behind Gwynedd Mercy, while a win from the Cavaliers would set up a fight for the top-seed between Cabrini and GMU later in the season.
