Scranton, PA – Marywood University remained undefeated in Colonial States Athletic Conference men's soccer play with a 4-0 victory Saturday over Cairn University. The Pacers scored two goals within three minutes of each other to give themselves a favorable advantage in the early minutes of the game. Marywood has its best record (7-2-2) through 11 games in program history and sports a 4-0 record in the conference for the second straight season. Cairn falls to 7-6 overall with a 2-3 CSAC mark.

Matthew Hull put the Pacers on top early with a goal in the ninth minute. Two minutes and 35 seconds later, Christian Lawlor connected on a penalty kick opportunity after being fouled inside the box.

Daniel Hull found the back of the net again in the 30th minute on a breakaway opportunity set up by a through ball from Jamie Mangini down the right side. With a 2-on-1 opportunity, Hull decided to take it himself and gave the Pacers a 3-0 lead.

In the second half, Daniel Lopez capped Marywood's scoring off a textbook chip shot in the 60th minute. Lopez controlled a push pass from Daniel Hull and lifted over the goalkeeper's head into the top right corner of the goal.
