Volleyball Downs Giants, Falcons in Tri-Match

Allentown, PA – Marywood University volleyball swept both games in the Allentown Tri-Match, defeating both Cedar Crest College and Keystone College in straight sets.

In Saturday's nightcap, Marywood won by scores of 25-11, 25-9, and 25-20 to earn the sweep while improving to 14-8 on the season and 5-2 in the CSAC.
 
Ashley Zalewski led the Pacers with 13 kills while Mikayla Bristol added nine kills in the win.  Kelly Chadwick led Marywood with 22 assists while Rachel Tollett led all players with 17 digs in the victory.  Amy Kester recorded a team-high five service aces in the win while Bristol contributed four aces for the Pacers.

Marywood won the opening match over Cedar Crest by scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-16. Zalewski led with nine kills. Kester and Bristol had strong performances with eight and seven kills, respectively. Chadwick chipped in 25 assists. Cavellier totaled five of the Pacers' 11 aces on the match. Mackenzie Goodwin and Tollett each added a team-high four digs.

The Pacers return to the court Wednesday when it travels to Baptist Bible College at 7:00 pm.
