Radnor, PA - Christian Lawlor pegged the game's lone goal to keep Marywood University undefeated in Colonial States Athletic Conference men's soccer play. Lawlor's goal was all the Pacers needed in a 1-0 victory over defending CSAC champion Cabrini College.

Lawlor collected a loose ball in front of goal and deposited it into the net in the 14th minute. It is his seventh goal and 18th point of the season.

The victory retains the Pacers' lead atop the CSAC standings. A Marywood (10-2-2, 7-0 CSAC) win over Neumann Tuesday or Gwynedd Mercy on Nov. 2 will clinch home-field advantage in the conference playoffs.

Both the Pacers and Cavaliers (9-7-2, 6-2 CSAC) failed to convert any of their scoring chances down the stretch. Marywood's Justin Sunseri provided a clean sheet with four saves. Cabrini's Eric Nowicki also made four saves.

The Cavaliers held a slight 10-9 edge over Marywood in shots. The Cavaliers owned a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Marywood will host Neumann Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the first of its two remaining regular season games.
