Scranton, PA – For the first time in program history, Marywood University will finish atop the Colonial States Athletic Conference men's soccer standings, following a 2-1 overtime victory Tuesday over Neumann University. With one game remaining on their schedule, the Pacers assured themselves of the top seed and home-field advantage in the CSAC playoffs.

Matthew Hull leaned in for a header off a Daniel Lopez corner kick in the 92nd minute to send the Pacer bench into jubilation. Hull came charging on the near side to go high left into the net.

It marks the first time that Marywood has defeated Neumann in men's soccer.

Marywood was less than three minutes away from ending the game in regulation before Neumann's Zach DiDonato made the best of a Knight misplay on a Joe Martinho corner kick. DiDonato ended the shutout on Neumann's 13th shot of the evening.

Daniel Hull tied Christian Lawlor's school record for most goals (11) in a season. He corralled a Lopez corner kick that pinballed off Zachary Oster and released a shot from 10 yards out in the 28th minute.

Justin Sunseri earned his seventh win of the season with five saves. Neumann's Alex Lacko made three stops.

Neumann held an advantage in shots (13-10) and corner kicks (6-4). Both teams had six shots on goal.

Marywood finishes its regular season and looks to keep its perfect conference record Saturday when it hosts Gwynedd Mercy University at 4:00 pm. The Pacers receive a first round bye and will host the CSAC semifinal on Nov. 7.
